Review by Yi-Sheng from FiveLines:
“…their movement vocabulary ranges from twirling in unison to madcap wheelbarrowing of one another’s bodies across the stage.”
“Is there a message here? Possibly a criticism of the banality of mass media, the forced optimism of pop culture. But mainly, it’s fun.”

Review by Lee Mun Wai in The Straits Times:
“Danish choreographer Simone Wierod presented WWW, a rhythmically sensitive and slapstick dance performed to a carefully edited soundtrack of weather reports. The two dancers bounced energies off each other with impeccable timing.”
“I was suddenly very aware of the size of the world I live in.”

An overwelming weekend of great performances is over. We had the honor of taking part in the SoloDuo Tanzfestival at Barnes Crossing in Cologne, alongside with 23 other acts from great performers from all corners of the world. Seeing such a diverse and interesting program of great talent combined with the impressions from workshops and feedback sessions I am very inspired, overwelmed and – not least – grateful for being selected to take part in this great showcase of new solos and duets in the field of contemporary dance.
